We found these in their original wooden crate, unopened, as shipped from Germany in the 1930's. After rubbing off the very old excelsior, and giving them a quick wipe down, they are pristine new old stock! Four different designs - these guys are the original pre-war item, made with terra cotta clay and charming hand painted quirky faces! Many of the small standing ones still have their made in Germany sticker, and the larger ones are stamped Germany. Obviously limited edition. Place in the tree, peeking out from greenery! What a wonderful addition to a woodland display!
