I started making these crepe paper confections 25 years ago!!! I came up with a name for them: “Cachettes”, which roughly translates to “little hiding place”. Each one is hand made at my desk with antique Dennison crepe paper, Victorian scrap images, and dresden trims. Each is a tiny holding place for something precious as well as a charming ornament.
