Found in the fields of Brimfield, straight out of an attic in Maine. This woven coverlet dates from mid 1800's and was obviously stored carefully. it is in pristine condition, with no fading and no holes, and has a wonderful rustic texture. It was common for housewives to spin their own wool, and then take it to a weaver to be woven in a chosen pattern. Wonderful winter covering.
