This long panel of heavy Venetian brocade with a warp of linen and a weft of silk is a rich color somewhere between wine and raspberry in color. (or is it the other way around?!) Approximately 24" wide and 7' long. I am thinking it was probably a curtain or wall hanging, but its a nice chunk of textile, probably at least 140 years old. has a fold mark running down the middle. Pillows anyone?
