Our final weekend of classes includes even more all new projects from Wendy and Monica! The letterpress class will again remain the same, although students who have taken the class previously can expand on their other projects, create something new, or print on an item or textile that has been created in a morning class.
All classes are 4hrs long, and will be offered in both the morning and afternoon. The morning classes will run from 9AM-1PM, and the afternoon classes from 2PM-6PM. For those who sign up for an entire day of classes, a 1-hr lunch break with food and drinks will be provided. Anyone familiar with Wendy will also know that coffee will be served often & all day long!!
To sign up for an entire day of classes, simply choose one 'Morning Class' and click 'Add to Cart'; then choose and afternoon class and 'Add to Cart' before completing the checkout process.
WAXED FLOWER CROWN with WENDY
Inspired by French wax wedding crowns found in antique globe de marrie, and using all authentic vintage and antique millinery fabric flowers and pips, you will create beautiful waxed flower crown and/or bouquet to wear and display.
INDIGO DIP with Monica
Using the fabric provided, we will have the most fun dipping into our indigo dye vat! You can experiment with ancient tie-dying techniques, as well as create ombre effects. You are encouraged to bring up to three items of clothing to dip.
LETTERPRESS STUDIO OPEN ALL DAY:
Chris will be in the studio for anyone that wants to drop in for a few minutes and see the basics of letterpress printing and die-cutting.
