25 Years ago I found a large jar of vintage glass glitter at my favorite thrift store and excitedly took it home. My mind and hands knew instinctively what to do with it - make a three dimensional star, like one that would have been used in a Christmas Pageant 100 years ago! That star was my very first item in my first Christmas line of designs, and for me it has never lost its simple and classic vintage appeal. Both old world and with a touch of primitive elegance, this star says it all to me about what Christmas is - light in darkness, hope in sadness, beauty in a confusing world.
The stars shown are in two sizes - 4" across, and 6 1/2" across, and 9" across, glittered front and back, with a wire hook to hang.
The moon is approximately 6 1/2" tall, glittered front and back, with a wire hook for hanging.
