Old World French "sabots" were typically used as containers for gifts on Christmas morning, stuffed with treats or straw!!! These very special Slippers are authentically re-produced from an antique mold I have owned for years. We hand cast the form and then cover it with our faux bois texture, add a dusting of snow, and use it to cradle our in house made Belsnickle Santa figure, also cast from an antique mold!
