These bead strands were salvaged form a 1920's beaded fringed door screen. These hand blown glass beads are sometimes referred to as Peking glass, as they were made to imitate Chinese jade colors. They are interspersed with hand rolled wallpaper beads - these were a handcrafted item in the 1920's, made by rolling up old wallpapers and then shellacking them. Each set contains two strands, over three full yards of beads, each set is $30. I have multiple sets.
